THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK

Hi, I'm Julian

A developer who enjoys turning complicated ideas into clear, useful experiences.

For more than a decade, I've worked on websites and applications across design, development, and everything in between. I care about how the finished thing feels to the person using it.

The work I care about

I've collaborated with designers, content teams, testers and engineers to build and improve software that people rely on. That work taught me to value accessible design, thoughtful details, and reliable products over complexity for its own sake.

I enjoy working from the first sketch through the final refinements, especially when a small change can make something easier for someone else to use.

What keeps me curious

I'm drawn to the overlap between design, technology and learning. I'm curious about practical AI, clearer ways to organize work, and experiences that make a complex task feel less intimidating. The common thread is simple: useful tools should feel good to use.

About this space

This space is where I collect selected work and ideas I'm still figuring out. The projects show the decisions behind what I build, and the blog is a place for notes on tools, design, and the occasional experiment. I want it to grow with the work: part portfolio, part notebook, and a way to connect with people who care about making better things.
